Trevor Samson came to BYU as a transfer from Fresno City College where he made 23 and 25 PATs in 2012. He was a two-time letterman and became BYU's career leader in field goal percentage at 83.9. Samson made nine field goals in a row and 62 consecutive PATs across his junior and senior seasons. His 10 PATs against Wagner was the first time a BYU kicker converted 10 since a game 2001. He finished his career at No. 6 in BYU history in total PATs made at 114 and was named to several All-Independent teams during his career.
