  • Totaled 107 tackles and eight interceptions in high school 
  • Played some quarterback, passing for 376 yards and running for 1,169 yards and 12 touchdowns in prep career 
  • Helped Fremont to an 11-3 record and to Utah 5A state title game in 2011  
  • Also played prep basketball for the Silver Wolves and was a forward in soccer
  • Also recruited by Hawai’i, Utah and Utah State
BYU Hall of Fame

Freshman Year 2014

  • Started at boundary corner in his first college game
  • Notched five tackles, including a sack, in win at Texas
  • Came up with his first-career interception in the win against Middle Tennessee while also adding the first forced fumble of his career, two solo tackles and two pass breakups
  • Tallied three pass breakups and four solo tackles in win over UNLV
  • Played in 12 games and earned letterman honors as a freshman
Sophmore Year 2015

  • Notched four tackles and one pass breakup at Nebraska
  • Had his first interception of the season against Wagner
  • Tallied three tackles and one tackle for loss to go along with a forced fumble at Utah State
  • Recorded four tackles in the bowl game against Utah
