Before BYU

• Redshirted at Nevada as a true freshman
• Transferred to Glendale Community College
• Helped lead the Gauchos to a 9-2 record and a No. 5 national ranking as a redshirt freshman
• Earned Conference Player-of-the-Week after leading the Gauchos to 38-23 win over Scottsdale
• Completed 15-of-26 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns in the victory
• Ranked second in the Western States Football League with 138 completions for 1911 yards and 18 touchdowns
• Earned Academic All-America honors
• Earned second-team All-Confernce honors
• Named the Glendale CC MVP at the Valley of the Sun Bowl
• Earned first-team all-district honors at Farmington High School
