Before BYU
- Won the state championship as a senior and went undefeated
- Earned all-state recognition as a tight end for three seasons and was also an all-state defensive end his junior and senior seasons
- Was named the conference lineman of the year as a senior

- Also recruited by Eastern Washington, Western Oregon, Oregon and Boise State

Freshman Year
2014
- Saw action against Savannah State, recorded two tackles and a 0.5 tackle for loss and a recovered fumble
Sophmore Year
2015
- Switched from defense to offense, filling the role of tight end
- Transitioned to running back during the season
- Played in 10 games
Junior Year
2016
- Played in all 13 games, starting eight
- Posted 13 receptions for 156 yards and two touchdowns
- Caught a touchdown against Wyoming in the Poinsettia Bowl
- Recorded his first receiving touchdown against Mississippi State in double overtime for the game-winning score
- Career-high three receptions and 62 receiving yards against Toledo
- Named to the College Sports Madness Preseason All-Independent second team offense
Senior Year
2017
- Played in 11 games, starting five
- Had two receptions for 26 yards
- Used as one of BYU's best blocking tight ends
- Had a 12-yard reception against Portland State and a 14-yarder against San Jose State
