Played at Hudson's Bay High where he was the most inspirational player...an all-conference honorable mention receiver...coached by Marv Crowston (Oregon State)...lettered in football three years and basketball one year...was actively recruited by Washington State, Oregon State, Idaho State and Idaho.
Walk-on...played with the jayvee.
Moved into a starting role...greatest moment was recovering a fumble in the endzone at Hawai'i for BYU's only touchdown of the game...best receiving outings were six catches for 92 yards vs. Wyoming; four catches for 51 yards vs. UNLV; four catches for 54 yards vs. Long Beach; and four catches for 45 yards and a TD against Colorado State.
