Acquired 11 letters through football, basketball, baseball and track...was all-region in football and basketball...all-state in football and baseball (pitcher) for American Fork High...a Centenary prep All-American...coached by Don Mower (BYU).
Saw limited playing time with the jayvee because he was traveling with the varsity...had 14 carries for 64 yards, including an 18-yarder vs. Wyoming.
Was the fifth-leading rusher on the varsity with 176 yards on 35 carries...scored one touchdown...caught 14 passes for 106 yards.
Had 64 yards on 15 carries for a 4.27 average...caught four passes for 53 yards and one touchdown.
