Parents are Merle and Janice...served an LDS mission to Oregon...married Elizabeth (Libbie) Pettitt in June, 1985...they have a son...recruited by San Diego State, Oregon, Northwestern, West Texas State and Weber State...majoring in physical therapy.
Before BYU
High School - Lettered three times each in basketball and baseball and twice in football at Madison High...all-state, all-conference and all-cross state in football...successfully kicked a 45-yard field goal...all conference in basketball and baseball...coached by Preston Haley.
Other College - Honorable mention all-conference in football and played catcher with the Ricks College baseball team.
Walked on for spring drills.
Saw limited action...hampered by a knee injury, which required surgery at the end of the season.
