Before BYU

Was student-athlete of the year at Dixie High where he lettered three times each in football, basketball and baseball...was all-state in all three sports...three-time all-state in baseball...was Washington County athlete of the year...honorable mention All-America by USA Today in football and baseball...coached by Jerry Dyer.

BYU Hall of Fame

Freshman Year 1998

Switched from quarterback to tight end during spring drills...saw limited game action as a backup at tight end...a daily contributor on the practice squad.

Sophmore Year 1999

Participated in spring drills...played in 8 of 11 regular-season games...caught six passes for 63 yards including three touchdowns... tied for most touchdown receptions in a game with two (vs. Utah State)...finished fifth on the team in scoring with 20 points, including three touchdowns and a two-point conversion.

Junior Year 2000

Had three receptions for 69 yards and kicked a 50-yard punt for the White team in the Blue / White scrimmage ... saw action in all 12 games during the season ... recorded 14 receptions for 213 yards, including a 19-yard fourth-quarter touchdown completion at Virginia to cut the Cavalier lead to just seven points ... recorded a season-high 66 yards at Air Force on just two receptions, including a career long 55-yard reception.

Senior Year 2001

Drafted in the second round by the Oakland Raiders in the 2002 NFL Draft...a starter in all 13 regular-season games for the Cougars and started at tight end during the Liberty Bowl against No. 22 Louisville...First-Team All-MWC...First-Team Media All-MWC...The Sporting News First-Team All-MWC...won coaches awards for receiver for games against California, Air Force and Wyoming...received MWC player-of-the-week (Oct. 22, 2001), the first tight end to earn that honor...recorded 177 yards (a MWC single-game record) on 10 receptions and scored three touchdowns to lead BYU to a 63-33 win over Air Force, making Jolley the first BYU receiver since 1992 (Eric Drage) to pick up three touchdowns in a single game...Jolley recorded a total of 32 receptions for 492 yards...contributed 42 points to BYU's No. 1 offense in the nation...credited with two touchdowns at Hawaii
