Grant also won the 100 fly and 200 fly, touching the wall with times of 56.78 and 2:01.53, respectively, at the Anteater Shootout ... named Mountain West Conference Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 4, 2008 for her performance at the TCU meet ... won the 400 IM at the New Mexico/NAU meet with a time of 4:27.95 ... led her team in the first conference meet of the season, not only winning the 200 fly (2:01.30), 100 fly (56.22) and 200 IM (2:05.67), but she also helped the 400 medley relay team win with a time of 3:52.37 ... the 100 fly time (56.22) against TCU was a new high-altitude record for the Cougars ... finished first in the 200 IM at the Blue and White Meet to kickoff the season with a time of 2:04.76.

Placed 44th in the 200 IM, 28th in the 400 IM and 25th in the 200 fly at the NCAA National Championships the only Cougar swimmer to qualify for nationals ... along with Meghan Zimmer of San Diego State, Grant was named Swimmer of the Year for her two titles at the MWC Championships in the 400 individual medley and 200 fly as well as placing second in the 200 IM ... tallied 21 first-place finishes during the dual meet season more than any other Cougar ... named All-MWC for her performance at the MWCC ... ranked 43rd in the nation overall in the 400 IM (4:13.47) ... ranked fifth in the MWC in the 200 free for her performance at MWCC with a time of 1:48.85 ... ranked third in the MWC in the 100 fly (55.21), achieved against Utah ... ranked first in the MWC in the 200 fly with a time of 1:57.69, achieved at the NCAA Championships ... ranked third in the MWC with a time of 2:00.45 in the 200 IM, achieved at the MWCC ... ranked first in the MWC in the 400 IM with a time of 4:13.47 (MWCC).

Competed in all ten dual meets for the Cougars...named MWC Swimmer of the Year along with SDSUs Kelly Marquenie...attended NCAAs and placed 18th in the preliminaries of the 200 butterfly, recording a time of 1:57.4...placed 27th in the prelims of the 400 IM, touching in at 4:14.37...at the MWCC, she placed first in the 200 IM (1:59.40), 400 IM (4:10.77) and the 200 Fly (1:57.19), all earning NCAA b cut times...also placed third in the 400 free relay and fifth in the 800 free relay...earned All-Conference recognition for her performances in the 200 fly, 200 IM, 400 IM and 400 free relay...ranked 29th in the nation for the 200 fly and 32nd for the 400 IM...ranked first in the conference for the 400 IM, second in the 200 IM and third for the 200 free...ranked first for the Cougars in the 200 free, 200 fly and 400 IM...ranked second for the team in the 500 free, 50 back and 200 IM...tallied 32 first-place finishes during the season...recorded two MWC Swimmer of the Week awards during the season.
