  • Helped BYU offense to rank No. 5 in third down conversions and average 405.7 yards per game in 2011
  • Coached Logan Mankins at Fresno State (1st round NFL pick 2005 of the New England Patriots, started every game as a rookie) and 1998 Outland Trophy winner and All-American Kris Farris at UCLA
  • In 1998, the UCLA offense racked up 5,847 yards of total offense to set a single-season school record
  • During that same season, the Bruins won the Pac-10 with a 10-2 record
  • Was with Idaho State when it won the NCAA Division I-AA National Championship in 1981
