BYU had a snap of five consecutive wins snapped. The Cougars have not won six in a row in one regular season since 2008.

Record in San Diego
BYU’s record against SDSU drops to 28-8-1 and 11-6-1 against the Aztecs in the regular season. The Cougars also fall to 17-12-2 in SDCCU Stadium.

PLAYER NOTES
Talon Shumway
Shumway had a career-best six catches for 83 yards in the game, putting him with over 500 receiving yards (539) in 2019. He becomes the third player with more than 500 yards this season. It is the first time since 2015 that BYU has had three receivers with more than 500 in a single season. Matt Bushman has 597 and Micah Simon has 560.

Zach Wilson
Wilson threw for 316 yards, his third 300-yard game of his career It also put him at 2,108 passing yards for the season. It is the first time a BYU quarterback has been over 2,000 yards since Taysom Hill had 2,316 yards in 2016.
