Vote Nelson for FRS QB Performance of the Year Finals
CHICAGO - BYU’s junior quarterback Riley Nelson has been voted into the finals of the FRS Quarterback Performance of the Year, Intersport announced. The FRS Quarterback Performance of the Year is part of a four-month competition that lets fans determine which individual performances reign supreme during the 2011 college football season.

The winner will be announced during the All-Star Football Challenge special, airing Super Bowl Sunday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Voting is open until Sunday, Jan. 22 at 9:59 a.m. ET.
In addition to recognizing the season’s top performances, the All-Star Football Challenge will feature college football’s biggest stars in a live skills challenge. In the 13 year history of the event, 41 first-round NFL draft picks have participated in the All-Star Football Challenge.
In Week 13 of the 2011 season, Nelson led the Cougars to 34 consecutive points after trailing early in the second quarter at Hawaii. Nelson threw for 363 and three touchdowns and BYU racked up 530 yards of offense to close its regular season in the 41-20 win.
