The men's and women's swim team will have its final warm-up of the season before heading into the dual meet schedule when they face in-state rival Utah in the Beehive Relays Friday at 6 p.m. at the RB pools.
Although the meet will still be considered a training session before the season begins there will be no love loss between the two in-state schools.
"There is always a rivalry when BYU and Utah get together," Men's head coach Tim Powers said. "Last year we went up and beat them at their pool, so they are looking for a little pay back."
The meet will follow standard relay match-ups with some unusual relays such as a 3x100 freestyle relay, 3x100 breaststroke relay and 3x100 butterfly relay among others.
The diving teams will also be in action under a slightly different format. The team will dive in pairs with the scores being added together to get a total. The meet will begin at 6 p.m. and will be free to the public.
