PROVO, Utah – BYU women's tennis visits in-state rival No. 51 Utah, Wednesday in the Deseret First Credit Union Duel. The match begins at 5 p.m. and will be played at the Eccles Tennis Center on the University of Utah campus.

"This rivalry match is something we look forward to every year," BYU head coach Lauren Jones-Spencer said. "Regardless of where we are or how we've done, this match is always a tough and exciting one. It's more than just about tennis, it's a big rivalry between both schools."

BYU (1-6) will be led by senior Nicolette Poulsen, who went 2-0 last weekend, winning singles matches against players from No. 10 Texas Tech and No. 42 William & Mary.

"Going into the match we just need to focus on playing to win and being positive and believing in ourselves," Jones said. 'We've had a tough schedule so far this year but this is a great opportunity for us to get going on the right track."

Utah (5-2) looks to rebound after a 5-2 loss at New Mexico. The Cougars lead the rivalry with an all-time 36-12 record against the Utes.
