No. 9 BYU competes against San Francisco and Santa Clara

PROVO, Utah – No. 9 BYU women’s volleyball returns home this week for a pair of conference matches against San Francisco and Santa Clara.

San Francisco

• The Cougars face the Dons Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. MST at the Smith Fieldhouse.
• BYU is a perfect 15-0 all-time against San Francisco.
• The Cougars won the matchup earlier this season in San Francisco in straight sets.
• The Dons are 3-25 overall this season and still searching for their first conference win at 0-15 in West Coast Conference play.

Santa Clara

• BYU competes against Santa Clara Saturday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. MST at the Smith Fieldhouse.
• The Cougars lead the overall series history 10-4 against the Broncos.
• BYU swept Santa Clara earlier this season in California in the two teams’ first league match.
• The Broncos sit at 15-12, 8-7 WCC this year, tied for third-place in conference play.

Thursday’s match against San Francisco will be “80s Night.” It will be televised live on BYUtv. There is free admission to Saturday’s match against Santa Clara. It will be streamed live on TheW.tv. Links to video streams and live stats can be found on the BYU women’s volleyball schedule page.
