GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three members of the No. 1 BYU women’s volleyball team were named Google Cloud Academic All-District on Thursday.

Senior outside hitter Roni Jones-Perry was named to the Region 8 First Team while senior setter Lyndie Haddock-Eppich and junior libero Mary Lake were selected for the region’s second team.

BYU’s three honorees tied for the most of any team in the country and are the most in a single season in program history.

Jones-Perry, an exercise science major, is a national player of the year candidate this season after earning AVCA All-America recognition last year. The senior is No. 9 in points per set and No. 15 in kills per set nationally. As a first-team recipient, Jones-Perry is now a nominee for Academic All-America announced early next month.

Haddock-Eppich is a public health major who is No. 23 in the country in assists per set. She ranks No. 3 on the rally era and No. 7 on the all-time BYU career assists list.

Lake, an accounting major, excels in one of the most rigorous and highly ranked accounting programs in the nation. The junior ranks first in career digs per set and second in total digs in the BYU rally era career record books.

The only undefeated team in the nation, the Cougars are entering their 10th week ranked No. 1 in the nation and can claim the West Coast Conference title outright with one more conference win in their last three matches.
