Miller Again Named WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – BYU women's volleyball outside hitter McKenna Miller was again named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for her performances against LMU and Pepperdine last week.

The All-American paced the Cougars in their two big wins, totaling 33 kills against just eight errors, hitting .403 and 4.71 kills per set. The senior added three aces, four digs and four blocks as well.

In game one against the Lions, Miller had 15 kills, three blocks, two digs and an ace as the Cougars defeated LMU in four sets. On Saturday, Miller came up huge against Pepperdine with 18 kills on .452 hitting with two aces. Miller had six kills in set one against the Waves then, in the third set, helped BYU come back down 24-20 to win 29-27. The senior had nine kills in the third set, including four during the late comeback, to seal the sweep and maintain BYU’s share of first place in the conference standings.

The award is Miller's third of the season, leading all players in the conference.
