He lettered in football, track and hockey four years...lettered in basketball three years...he was MVP in football his senior year...holds track state record in 200 and 400 meter...MVP in hockey three years in a row...player of the year in football in city for his senior year...coached by Jerry Watson (Utah State)...his team was city finalist all four years.
Played with the jayvee as a running back...ran the opening season jayvee kickoff 89 yards for a TD vs. Mesa Community College.
Played on the varsity two deep.
Started witht eh varsity as a cornerback and was back of the game vs. UTEP and SDSU...was special teams player against Wyoming...led the team with 12 tackles vs. Air Force...Academic All-District 7 and honorable mention Academic All-America (CoSida).
