• Parents are Jeana and Garry
• Father, Garry, played offensive line at BYU in 1986, 89-92
• Has two brothers and one sister
• Plans to major in business administration
• Served as a missionary in the Washington, D.C. South mission

Before BYU

• Prepped at Lone Peak High School
• Named to Deseret News 6A All-State second team in 2016 and 2017  
• Helped Lone Peak to back-to-back state runner-up finishes as a sophomore and a junior  
• Named All-Region in 2015, 2016 and 2015 as well as academic All-Region
• Knights had a 34-6 record during his three years on the varsity squad 
• Also played varsity baseball and basketball 
• Coached by Bart Brockbank and Mike Mower  
• Also recruited by Utah State, Utah, UCLA, Oregon and USC
