Born 7/1/70 in Salt Lake City...parents are Verl and Sue...is a brother-in-law of former Cougar basketball player Alan Pollard and quarterback Bob Jensen...older brother, Kevin, was a wide receiver for BYU...younger brother Cliff, also a wide receiver, signed with BYU in 1992 and is currently serving a mission...Bryce served a mission in Sacramento, California, from 1989-91...recruited by Stanford, Miami, Weber State and Utah...majoring in economics.

Before BYU

Honor Student at Skyline High...lettered in track, basketball and football...all-region in basketball and all-state in football...Balley All-American in football and academics...caught 60 passes as a senior, 15 for TD's...Touchdown Club of Atlanta Back of the Year in Utah...coached by Roger DuPaix (BYU).

Freshman Year 1988

Caught an 80-yard touchdown on the first play of BYU's home opener against Texas...caught three passes for 124 yards in that game...had a 31-yard catch against Texas Christian...suffered a broken clavicle in practice prior to game at Hawai'i, but returned for the Miami game...caught three passes for 65 yards at Miami.

Sophmore Year 1992

Made three first half catches for first downs at Hawai'i...named outstanding receiver of the game for that performance...had a 33-yard reception vs. Notre Dame...threw a cut block that led to Terence Saluone's first career TD off a 47-yard pass against New Mexico...made three catches, one for 22 yards, in hometown Salt Lake City vs. Utah...caught four passes for 99 yards in the Aloha Bowl...Academic All-WAC.

Junior Year 1993

Was Academic All-WAC...opened the season by scoring three TDs at New Mexico and selected by the coaching staff as receiver of the game...received that same honor against CSU and Utah...caught a 27-yard pass in the Holiday Bowl against Ohio State...in that game he had three catches for a team-high 82 yards...made two diving catches at Colorado State...had a key first down lunge against Notre Dame...both receptions in the Fresno State game were for TDs...caught a TD to start the second half at San Diego State...started against Utah...has caught a pass in his last eight games.
