Scored on a 20-yard reverse during the Blue/White Game, caught five passes for 41 yards, and had a kickoff return for 30 yards...receiver of the game against Hawai`i, UTEP, and New Mexico...caught a 32-yard TD pass at SMU...three catches for 41 yards vs. Utah State...three catches for 97 yards, including one for 44 and one for 41 at UTEP...four catches for 80 yards and returned a kickoff for 25 yards vs. Tulsa...14-yard TD reception at New Mexico.

Sophmore Year 1998

Started all 14 games for the Cougars at wide receiver...ranked first among receivers with three touchdown receptions ...Coaches' award as the top receiver for his performance against Fresno State...caught five passes for 77 yards against the Bulldogs, including a 44-yard reception from Drew Miller that set up Ronney Jenkins for a four-yard touchdown run...led the team in receiving in six different games, including a 179-yard performance against Murray State...caught five passes for 179 yards and one touchdown against the Racers, including an 80-yard reception from Kevin Feterik... grabbed a season-best 83-yard reception for a touchdown (from Feterik) against UNLV...led the team and ranked 13th in the WAC in receiving with a career-high 49 receptions for 732 yards, averaging 14.9 yards per catch...averaged 56.3 yards and 3.8 receptions per game...gained 21 yards rushing on the season.
