Partially blocked a punt at Tulsa...caused a fumble at TCU...was coaches' player of the game vs. Texas A&M and Tulsa.
Selected by the coaches as the outstanding special teams player of the year...Made a shoestring tackle for an eight-yard loss on a punt return vs. Utah St.,...blocked a kick at UTEP...played extensively on special teams...named coaches' special teams player of the game vs. New Mexico.
Was a starter in all 14 games for BYU at linebacker...blocked two kicks on the season to lead the team in that category...was picked by the coaches as outstanding linebacker vs. Murray State and at UTEP...blocked an extra point in the closing moments of the WAC Championship game vs. Air Force...led the Cougar defense in the Liberty Bowl with a season-high 11 tackles.
