Freshman Year
1997-1998
- In his first season with the Cougars, he compiled an 8-5 record in singles and 5-6 in doubles
- Played mostly at the five and six positions in singles
Sophmore Year
1998-1999
- Finished the season with a 16-12 singles record while playing all positionts from number two to five
- Finished the season 14-8 in doubles while playing all three doubles positions
- Began the next season ranked No. 16 in the nation in doubles while being paired with teammate Carlos Lozano
Junior Year
1999-2000
- Nic finished the season with a 16-12 singles record for the second year in a row
- Teamed with Carlos Lozano to finish 18-10 in doubles during the season
- Played the number two spot in doubles for most of the year, but was 2-0 with Lozano when they did play at the No. 1 spot
Senior Year
2001-2002
- After sitting out in 2000-01, Nic came back this year to post a 15-9 record in singles playing at nearly every spot
- At one time this season, Nic put together a string of eight consecutive wins in doubles
