Freshman Year 2001

A member of the 2001 NCAA National Championship team ... saw limited action behind All-American Scott Bunker and Matt Olsen at middle blocker ... played in five games as a redshirt-freshman ... recorded six kills on 11 attempts with just one error ... credited with five blocks during the season.

Sophmore Year 2002

Earned All-MPSF honorable-mention honors ... led BYU with 147 blocks on the season, averaging 1.36 blocks per game ... competed in 108 of 109 games during the season ... recorded match-highs with six blocks and a .727 hitting percentage (nine kills on 11 swings) against Ball State ... led the team with a .556 hitting average (12-18-2) against Hawaii (April 13) ... registered double-digit kills in five matches during the season ... recorded a season-best 16 kills against Stanford (Jan. 12 ) ... posted seven service aces for the season...ranked fourth in the nation in blocking.

Junior Year 2003

Competed in 88 games on the season ... second on the BYU roster for blocking with 90 blocks on the season ... registered six or more blocks on five occasions ... hit over .500 in eight matches, including a personal-best .846 in the MPSF semi-final match against No. 2 Hawaii (11-0-13) ... recorded double-digit kills in five matches ... recorded a personal-high 4 aces against Penn State on May 1st ... finished the regular season ranked 10th in the MPSF for blocking, averaging 1.08 per game ... registered 45 digs and 11 service aces on the season.

Senior Year 2004

Member of the 2004 National Championship team...competed in only 47 games this season due to shoulder and ankle injuries...recorded 57 kills on the season, while hitting 1.21 kills per game...finished with 29 blocks and seven digs...in his first match back from shoulder surgery, he racked up 12 and 11 kills in two wins over Long Beach State...in the second match against the 49ers he recorded eight blocks and four digs, while hitting a .409 average...provided key blocks for the Cougars during crucial times of the MPSF tournament...hit his season-best .667 percentage against Pacific on Feb. 6...had recorded five kills into the second game against Stanford on Feb. 10, while he tore ligaments in his ankle...tied his career high of nine blocks against LBSU on Jan. 20.
