The BYU men's tennis team will begin its home dual season when it hosts the Air Force Academy Friday at 6 p.m. in the Indoor Tennis Courts.
The Cougars come into the match with a 3-1 dual record thanks to a successful road trip to California that saw BYU defeat UC-San Diego (5-1), San Diego State (4-3) and the University of San Diego (4-3).
The only loss the Cougars suffered was at the hands of Southern California, who was ranked 11th at the time.
The 42nd-ranked Cougars will now begin conference play with Air Force coming to town. The Falcons are 5-1 in dual meets this spring.
Senior Damien Ward will likely play in the number one singles spot with Ward and sophomore Gert Vilms playing in the number one doubles position.
The Cougars will host their next five dual matches. Among the teams scheduled to travel to Provo are No. 29 Boise State, Portland and Idaho State.
