PROVO, Utah – After splitting conference matches on the road last weekend, BYU men’s tennis returns to Provo for its final home match of the season against Saint Mary’s.

BYU (12-9, 5-1 West Coast Conference) split matches against Portland and Gonzaga last week. Jacob Sullivan posted the Cougars’ lone victory as BYU dropped its match 4-1 to the Pilots. Strong play from Sam Tullis, John Pearce and Keaton Cullimore highlighted the 4-0 sweep over the Bulldogs.

Saint Mary’s (6-11, 1-4 WCC) fell to both Santa Clara and San Francisco on the road last week. Damon Kesaris leads the Gaels as the top singles player and has won nine-straight matches in dual competition. Saint Mary’s takes on Utah State on Thursday before traveling to Provo to play BYU. The Cougars defeated the Gaels 4-0 on the road last season.

BYU faces off against Saint Mary's on Friday, April 7, at noon MDT at the BYU outdoor tennis courts. The match will be moved indoors if inclement weather occurs. Seniors Jeremy Bourgeois, Aidan Carrazedo, Cullimore and Sullivan will be honored for Senior Day. Admission is free and there will be free pizza and giveaways.
