Was 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and seven RBI at Colorado State ... also went 2-1 with a save in 14 appearances on the mound

Sophmore Year 1984

Won seven games with three saves and a 4.91 ERA in 16 appearances

Junior Year 1985

All-District 9 Converse First Team ... All-Western Athletic Conference and Unanimous All-WAC Northern Division ... broke school records facing 546 batters and making 20 starts ... 14 victories and 139.2 innings pitched were second-best and 99 strikeouts were seventh-best in a season in BYU history ... won the Cameron Tuckett Award.

Senior Year 1986

Finished second in BYU career history in wins (29), games started (41), innings pitched (323.0) and strikeouts (244) ... went 6-5 with a 5.21 ERA in 12 starts
