Freshman Year 2004

Walked on following Church mission ... picked up his first collegiate victory in relief of a 10-9 win over Air Force on May 22 ... averaged 9.10 strikeouts per nine innings ... finished second on the team with a 3.45 ERA and a .277 opponents batting average ... struck out a season high seven against Air Force in the MWC Tournament ... longest appearance was five innings against New Mexico on May 6 ... picked up his first save in a 11-6 victory against Monmouth after closing out the final three innings.

Sophmore Year 2005

Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Week at New Mexico when he struck out the final batter with the bases loaded in the eighth to earn his second victory of the season less than 24 hours after getting his first save ... Academic All-MWC and Cougar Scholar-Athlete.

Junior Year 2006

Named Academic All-Mountain West Conference ... his 2.87 earned run average was the second-best on record in MWC history and broke the juniors record of 3.46 set by BYU's Nate Fernley in 2000 ... ended the season with a 4-0 record, leading the team with three of its 10 saves (two vs. New Mexico State and one vs. Northern Colorado) ... his last victory came against Utah when he threw only one pitch and picked off Ryan Khoury, the MWC Player of the Year for the final out of the eighth inning against Utah ... in Provo against Northern Colorado he struck out the first batter he faced with three pitches starting the ninth inning, behind 2-1 ... struck out the final two batters of that game, swinging and called when UNC had men on first and third with one out in the ninth ... finished fifth in BYU history with seven career saves
