- Had a 16-18 record with a 3.73 ERA, five saves and 269 strikeouts (12.5 average) and batted .320 in four years at BHS
- Set school record when he struck out 16 in a 7-0 victory vs. Golden Valley HS
- Struck out 15 batters in five innings in a 3-2 victory over two-time defending Valley Champion Stockdale HS
- Senior Class President, voted by the faculty as "Most Respectful Student"
- Presented the US Marine Corp Distinguished Athlete Award and President's Award for Academic Excellence
