Earned math star honors for four consecutive years at Colegio Marista High School...Earned Most Valuable Player honors in 1998...a two-time tournament MVP and three-year All-Star selection...Twice earned MVP honors in 199 and was selected to three different all-star teams...named all-tournament in both 1998 and 1999...hit .373 as a senior...also lettered in basketball (1999-'00)...played for Borinquen Coqui at the club level for head coach Allan Obrador.
