Adding a win and tie last week to their record, the BYU women's soccer team continues through conference play this week with one game on Thursday, Oct. 20, against Loyola Marymount at 7 p.m. MT on South Field.

The Cougars have gone undefeated in five of their last six games with the only loss coming to now-ranked No. 5 Pepperdine. BYU's offense is currently led by Jennie Marshall's four goals with teammates Carlee Payne, Lindsi Lisonbee and Jaiden Thornock also contributing on three each.

A total of 12 different players have scored at least one goal this season for a team total of 24 goals in 15 games. Seven different players have recorded double-figure shots this season to add to BYU's versatile attack options.

Senior goalkeeper McKinzie Olson became BYU's all-time career saves leader on Oct. 15 against Pepperdine with six saves to push her into first place. Olson has started every game in her career since the fifth contest of her freshman year, totaling over 7,000 career minutes in front of the net and 265 saves to-date.

The Lions will play in Provo this week for the first time ever and have gone undefeated in two of their last three games, accumulating a 7-6-2, 1-2-1 record. The last meeting between the Cougars and Lions was in 2004 with Loyola Marymount getting the 2-1 victory. Loyola Marymount and BYU shared just one regular season opponent in Cal State Fullerton.

Eight different Lions have scored at least one goal this season with Tawni Martino's four leading the way. Marinto also leads the team in shots with 38.

The game will be broadcast live on BYU Radio here and live stats are available through the BYU women's soccer schedule page. Visit the game's Facebook page to learn about special deals and giveaways!
