Utah's top prep player when he led Murray High to the 1990 3A state championship and the American Legion title ... unbeaten as a pitcher through high school and Legion ball ... had a 3.99 grade point average ... lettered four times in tennis and three time sin golf ... all seven teams he played on were region champions ... was Utah's 3A champion for three years at number-two singles and was all-state two years in basketball ... holds school season and career records for home runs, RBI and pitching victories.
