Outdoor

  • Took third place at the Trojan Invitational and set a new personal record with a time of 8:57.02 in the 3000S

Outdoor

  • Earned All-America First Team honors by taking second in the 10,000m (29:02.96) at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships

Indoor

Outdoor

  • Named first-team All-American after taking eighth place in the 5000m (13:58.20) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships while also receiving All-American honorable mention for his 24th-place finish in the 10,000m (31:37.69) 
  • Won the 10,000m (29:14.29) and placed 10th in the 5000m (13:51.28) at the NCAA West Preliminary Round to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in both events
  • Ran a career-best 3:51.00 in the 1500m to place seventh overall and took second in the 3000m (8:30.70) at the Pepsi Invitational
  • Clocked a personal record in the 5000m at the Mt. SAC Relays (13:37.98) to finish third overall and move up to No. 8 in the school's outdoor record book

  • Opened the season with a career-best 1:53.82 in the 800m at the BYU December Invite
