Career Summary
Paige Affleck finished her career as the top pitcher in BYU history, taking the top spots in multiple categories. When she graduated in 2011, she was the career and season leader wins, complete games, shutouts (career only), innings pitched, strikeouts (career only) and ERA. In 2010, Affleck led the Cougars to their first appearance in the NCAA Super Regionals after defeating Texas in Austin in the NCAA Regionals. Following her postseason success, she was named to the Easton All-American Second Team. She was also the Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2010. During her career, she had one solo no-hitter and two no-hitters combined with other pitchers. Along with her achievements on the field, she excelled in the classroom, earning MWC Academic honors all four years, including MWC Scholar-Athlete honors each season.
