Prior to BYU

Worked for Physical & Sports Therapy Services in Orem before being hired as the head athletic trainer for Utah Valley State College in 1999, where he oversaw all 13 sports. Ramos also worked as a trainer with the 2002 Olympic medical staff at the Peaks Arena in Provo.

Personal

  • Married to the former Jennifer Gardine. Together they have four children, Chelsey (Caden), Taryn (Zach), Drayton and Brock
  • Hometown: Willits, California

Ramos has been at BYU since 2002 and the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine since 2010.

The Willits, Calif. native is the head athletic trainer for men's basketball, men's golf and men's tennis.
