BYU looks to remain perfect at home, hosts Central Michigan

BYU vs. Central Michigan Game Notes

BYU basketball will look to protect its perfect home record Friday when the Cougars host Central Michigan in the Marriott Center at 7 p.m. MST. The game will be televised live on BYUtv and broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143. 

BYU Storylines

  • BYU is 5-0 at home to start the season and Friday’s game is the final home game of the nonconference schedule. The Cougars are looking to go undefeated at home in nonconference play for the first time since 2012-13. BYU has won 11 in a row at home dating back to last season.
  • Kyle Collinsworth posted his seventh career triple-double with 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists vs. Belmont to break a tie with Michael Anderson (Drexel) and Shaquille O’Neal (LSU) for the NCAA career record.
  • Coach Dave Rose is BYU’s all-time leader in winning percentage at 74.3 percent and second in career wins at 263. He has led the Cougars to 10-straight 20-win seasons and 10-straight postseason appearances, including eight NCAA tournament appearances during that stretch.
