Cougars head to the Bay Area to play San Francisco

BYU at San Francisco Game Notes

On the heels of a four-game homestand, BYU basketball will play at San Francisco Thursday at 7 p.m. PST in War Memorial at The Sobrato Center. BYU won the first game between the Cougars and Dons 102-92 on Jan. 9 in the Marriott Center.

The game will be televised live on BYUtv and broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143. Live video streaming will be available on BYUtv.org.

BYU Storylines

  • BYU begins a stretch of three-straight road games when the Cougars play at San Francisco on Thursday at 7 p.m. PST in War Memorial at The Sobrato Center. Since joining the WCC, BYU is 4-0 in San Francisco.
  • BYU coach Dave Rose is first all-time at BYU in winning percentage at 74.1. Currently second all-time in total victories, Rose will be going for career win number 275 Thursday at San Francisco.
  • Kyle Collinsworth is the only NCAA Division I basketball player in the last 20 years to total 1,500 points, 900 rebounds, 600 assists and 200 steals in a career.
  • Chase Fischer has made 79 3s, 7th most in a season at BYU. He is looking to join Jackson Emery and Jonathan Tavernari as the only Cougars to have two seasons with 80-plus 3s. Fischer made 103 3s last season.
