SAN BRUNO, Calif. – BYU men's basketball players TJ Haws and Luke Worthington were recognized for their academic success by being named to the 2017-18 West Coast Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll, the league announced Thursday.

Haws and Worthington each earned Bronze Honors (3.49-3.00). This marks the third time Worthington has earned a spot on the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll while Haws is a two-time honoree. Worthington also earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention and was named to the NABC Honors Court in 2017-18. Haws was named to the WCC All-Academic Team.

For the seventh consecutive year, over 1,000 WCC student-athletes garnered honors on the Commissioner's Honor Roll for possessing at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. More than 1,430 student-athletes qualified for recognition, establishing a conference record for the fifth consecutive season. The 2013-14 season was the first year more than 1,200 student-athletes met the selection criteria.
