No. 3 seed BYU to play in WCC quarterfinals Saturday

BYU Game Notes

BYU basketball open play at the 2019 University Credit Union West Coast Conference Championships Saturday against No. 7 seed San Diego at 9 p.m. PST in Orleans Arena.

Saturday's game will be televised live on ESPN2. The game with also be broadcast live on the BYU Sports Network on BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143/89.1 FM HD2 and KSL 102.7 FM/1160 AM.

BYU Storylines

• Yoeli Childs, TJ Haws and Gavin Baxter collected All-WCC honors. Childs was named to the All-WCC First Team for the second-straight season while Haws earned a spot on the All-WCC Second Team. Haws was a first-team honoree as a freshman and an honorable mention as a sophomore. Baxter was named to the All-WCC Freshman Team.
• BYU enters the 2019 University Credit Union West Coast Conference Championships as the No. 3 seed. The Cougars will play No. 7 Santa Clara in the quarterfinals on Saturday at 9 p.m. PST in Orleans Arena. BYU is 2-1 vs. San Diego in the WCC Championships, including an 85-79 win in the quarterfinals last season.
