Kyle Tresnak led the Wildcats with a career-high 19 points, hitting 6 of 10 shots from the floor and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line. The freshman center also pulled down a career- and game-high 11 rebounds for his first-career double-double.

Lindsey Hughey added 17 points and seven rebounds for the ‘Cats. Trevor Morris scored 14 points, Byron Fulton scored 13, and B.J. Porter added 12. Scott Bamforth just missed double figures, scoring eight points.

Hughey got things going, hitting a game-opening three-pointer 12 seconds into the contest, and Weber State never looked back as the ‘Cats started the game with a 13-4 run.

WSU pushed the lead to 21 points on a Tresnak layup with 10:59 left in the opening half, and led 35-14 with 8:40 left in the period. Scott Bamforth then scored on back-to-back possessions to open up a 16-0 run that was capped by a trey from B.J. Porter that put the Wildcats ahead by 38 points. Weber State went into the break holding a 55-27 lead.

In the second half, the Mustangs pulled within 25 points on a three-pointer by Demetrius Evans, but they would get no closer as the Wildcats went on another run to push the lead out to the final 50-point margin.
