Career Summary

Lacey Millett Hofstedt used her speed to become a key player for BYU in her career. She finished with the most stolen bases in a career at BYU with 79, more than 30 away from the second place player. In 2013 and 2015, she tallied 25 stolen bases, tied for the most in a single season. Her senior season in 2015 was her best, notching the third best batting average in a single season at BYU with .435. Outside of the field, Hofstedt excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-American honors in 2015.

  • Hit an inside-the-park grand slam against No. 2/3 Oregon. It was the first extra base hit of her career and a new career high for RBIs in a game (4).
  • Walked in the top of the seventh against San Diego to put the tying run on base in a 4-3 victory
  • Led the team and conference with 11 stolen bases
